In support of Jay Peak's industry leading decision to close early this season, Miso followed suit closing for the winter on March 15th. As we take our first steps in opening for summer, we vow to transition slowly to full operations with safety as our top priority. We've spent the last month discussing exactly what this means for a rural food truck who spends 90% of the summer on the road.
Instead of brooding over what will not be, Momo and I have focused our energy on the opportunity to stay closer to home and spend more time with our family, friends, and the Mountains. When opening back up this summer we wanted to be sure safety and the community were embeded in all our decisions and this has led to some very fun ideas. Our first plan to set in motion is a collaboration with local food artisans to offer a truly awesome food package available for pickup and delivery.
To preserve the tastes and textures that are so important to an authentic ramen experience we have chosen to sell our Miso as make your own ramen kits that can be whipped up in less than 5 minutes in the comfort of your own home. Knowing the amazing individuals who support our business are passionate local farm supporters as well, we are extremely excited to offer locally produced meats, veggies, eggs, dairy, and so much more alongside our miso. We hope this collaboration highlights the incredible population of local farms we have in this area and Vermont in general.
We cannot thank you enough for your contiued support and hungry bellies. We look forward to feeding you all and opening up an opportunity to get local farm fresh goods delivered to your door!
All our Love,
Jordan, Momo, and Yuki
